CRD engine protection has prevented a lot of expensive repairs. It is always better to have a dented or broken protector than a broken engine or frame - and definately cheaper!
Made of 3-4 mm thick aluminium, skid plates wrap around the engine and not only protect the frame and the engine but also the oil filter, the ignition and clutch covers, and the brake and gear levers. Finish: aluminium, matt (top picture), polished (middle picture) or natural (bottom picture) depending on model year. White Brothers (WB) and SW-Motech skid plates complete our product range, so we can offer skid plates for practically all offroad bikes!

New 2006: this skid plate is especially designed for use in competition and is equipped with a quick installation system. This system allows you to clean your bike more easily and to remove the skid plate quickly when you don't need it (e.g. for rides in easy terrain and motocross special tests). TIP: CRD "Mousse" is a foam you can put between skid plate and engine so no mud (which is heavy and difficult to remove) collects in this empty space.
